A simple book that fills our kids up with truth about talking to God. The rhyming makes it a nice read and the illustrations are really beautiful. Love this simple little book with a great big message! Prayer is such a vital need for all people, and our children need to be equipped with this positive comfort and power source. What is prayer? When do you pray? What can you pray about? Does God care about the things I care about? Are there things too small to pray about. Must I be at church to pray? These are a few questions that children might have that are answered in this book. This book is not preachy, but tells a story and weaves truths into the story with prose that will catch the attention and heart of a child, along with stunning artwork. I love the repeating phrase that sends a powerful message to children. It is a must have for your home library. It could be used in Summer programs, Sunday School, bedtime read alouds, and would make a great gift. There are discussion questions which will naturally lead into some wonderful conversations. As a parent and teacher, I am excited to find such a valuable resource. Many children face anxiety, fear, and unrest. Teaching children the power and comfort of prayer should be our top priority.
