I recently enjoyed a book that made me rethink my daily purchases. It is so easy to make a run to Target for a new t-shirt, a birthday card, or the latest book released in a favorite series. However, in The Abundance of Less, by Marcy Pusey, the story is told of the blessings and creativity found in a challenge to purchase nothing new for a year.
The book is full of fascinating facts, humorous stories, and real life experiences that will make you laugh, encourage you to think, and probably inspire you to clean out a closet or two. I may not be ready to commit to a year with no new purchases, but I am ready to pursue a life with less clutter.
